| | Polypockets and Date Due Cards
These are used when the full circulation method is chosen. The security trigger is disguised very effectively behind a customised bookplate and polypocket made from a clear, flexible, plastic material. The polypocket accomodates a non-customised, double sided date due card also concealing a trigger, inserted when the item is issued. One trigger placed over another masks the frequency which prevents the system alarming. If a borrower tries to re-enter the library to make an unauthorised removal of an item using the same date due card the alarms will be deactivated. |
